co-operative learning- social answer

Jablonsky's aim when studying cooperative learning is to 'to point out that it is a myth to consider self-assertion as the only way leading to individual success. p.17' So therefore the study of using co-operative learning practices in schools for Jablonsky comes from an interest in preparing students to become good citizens, in order that they can contribute to global problems aand function successfully in a global community. He also notes that the most important attribute an employer is looking for in an employee is the ability to work within a team. In addition he argues that co-operative learning creates awareness of ones own responsibilities, encourages the formation of opinions and attitudes, encourages respect of others and seek answers to problems.
